Cat Paintings

I just love cats!  I love dogs too - and absolutely all animals - but me and cats,  we just have this 'thing'.  Crazy cat lady, I have a theory that in life you cant just have one cat.  They are like popcorn - you have to have more.  

Besides painting cats of all colors, my black cat art is inspired by my very own little Patch, rescued as a tiny kitten with horrendous injuries straight after Halloween.  We rescued, saved and restored him back to health - and this little one eyed wonder has inspired me to promote the black kitty cat.

Sadly, black cats are the most unadopted, most euthanised and most widely abused cat in the world - compared to those of color, purely because of the stigma associated with them, throughout History and even to this present day.  Black cats are NOT bad luck.  They are not bearers of doom and gloom and they are most certainly not associated with witchcraft or the devil.  They are gorgeous beautiful little cats with strong personalities, and more love to give than you will ever ever know. And they compliment almost any home decor...
